A Long Conversation (The Shadowhunter Chronicles) (English Edition) Reviews
It is easy to read. And it ist very easy to understand. I had very fun to read this story
I do love the short story about all of the characters, but if you purchased Lady Midnight you will feel like you have read this story before. That is because you have. This short story is also at the end of Lady Midnight. I wish it would have told me that, so I wouldn't have wasted $1.99 on something I have already read....
I understand this is a short story but it felt rushed and more like a fanfiction than Cassandra's normal writing style. I'd recommend it only because there are those like me who are deeply invested in the characters and their progression. Both Simon and Isabel seemed grossly out of character compared to the other novels and the Academy series. Additionally the "cliffhanger" at the end did not feel as though it was natural, more like it was their only to frustrate readers and not to build real anticipation. Sadly this is definitely at the bottom of the list as far as this wonderful series goes.
I enjoyed reading an extra part to Jace and Clary's story as their story is one of my favourites. It was more of a chapter than anything else so I found it expensive for the length of the story that it was.
In this short story, Cassandra Clare has taken what every fan loves about her books - magic, poorly timed apocalypses, and every kind of love under the sun - and boiled the story down to that. With scenes that make you beam with pride at the characters (now 5 years older), stress with their anxieties, and remember why we all fell in love with this word all those years ago, Cassandra Clare has written another piece that will not only leave a mark on our memories, but our hearts as well.
Dark Artifices related story.I sure hope they marry - both couples! They are couple goals.Idk why the TV series felt the need to kill Jocelyn.
